If your mind is filled with positive thoughts, you will feel empowered, strong and brave. You will go into the world looking for opportunities. ⁠⁠

How to change the content of my mind?⁠⁠
⁠⁠
1️⃣ Close your eyes and tune in with yourself. ⁠⁠
2️⃣ Observe from a neutral perspective all the thoughts that are currently in your mind. Let them come and go and don't judge them. Create a space for everything to be there, exactly as it is now. ⁠⁠
3️⃣ Imagine your mind slowly becomes emptier and emptier. ⁠⁠
4️⃣ Now shift your focus consciously by asking:⁠⁠
 ☀️ What am I grateful for right now?⁠⁠
 ☀️ What do I like about myself?⁠⁠
 ☀️ What could be the most beautiful thought about me (even if it ⁠⁠doesn't feel true)?⁠⁠
5️⃣ Feel for a moment whether there is a slight shift inside of you. Stay there as long as you like. Then slowly open your eyes.⁠⁠

When I started meditating I had no idea what I was doing. Back in 2017 I just started, tried many meditation techniques before doing my first certification and realizing that my intuitive way of starting was not so bad after all.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Let me share with you what I learned, so that you can get there easier:⁠⁠
⁠⁠
1️⃣ Get informed about meditation. Read 2-3 articles about it, as this will greatly increase your motivation. There are endless benefits to the practice, you will be surprised!⁠⁠
⁠⁠
2️⃣ Pick an app. I know, mindfulness and technology sometimes seem counter-intuitive, yet it helped me a lot using @insighttimer to listen to guided meditations or just using the timer. It also offer statistics on your progress. You even find my meditations on the app - just download it and search for "Sophie Bachmann"⁠⁠
⁠⁠
3️⃣ Start small. The first time in the gym you would also rather take the 5 kg weight instead of the 20 kg one. Define a time slot per day and stick to it. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
4️⃣ Don't be afraid of failing. There is no right or wrong in meditation. Just start and just continue. Try different methods or start and stay in silence. ⁠⁠

5️⃣ Continue to practice every day. I promise you, it will change your life. ⁠⁠
