We are all familiar with the concept of work-life balance and everything that belongs to it. But what if you could find a better balance during work? Here is where Mindfulness comes in for me. My days are usually long and often hectic, running from meeting to meeting and barely a chance for a lunch or even bio break. So I was looking for a way to re-charge quickly and easily during the day and not just after work. However, I wasn’t very successful until Sophie offered a little mindfulness session after the lunch break during a 4 day training. It took maybe 10 minutes, but already this little time helped me to overcome the usual “lunch coma”. Over time I learned more about Sophie’s mindfulness initiative within the company and had the chance to participate in a dedicated 45 minutes session that covered both the theory behind it as well as some practical exercises. And again I was astonished how you can achieve so much with so little regarding your own well-being.

What are the three main effects of mindfulness in a professional context?

What can our cooperation look like?

Your ability to focus is significantly strengthened by mindfulness. This correlates with increased productivity over the same time investment. Furthermore, it prevents the phenomenon of presenteeism, meaning "being present physically but not present mentally", which costs companies millions every year. Moreover, regular practice strengthens resilience to stress, which guarantees good mental health even in times of pressure and stress. Studies show that meditation reduces the volume of the stress center in the brain ("amygdala"). In addition, mindfulness promotes inner clarity and openness to new things, the prerequisite for making good decisions.

After your non-binding inquiry, we will discuss how I can best support you and your team in a subsequent preliminary meeting which is free of charge. For this purpose, I will ask you questions, and we will go over which format might best fit your strategy, your individual challenges, and preferences. I show you how to find more calm as you go about your fast-paced daily life. Many have heard of meditation or already practice it. However, as soon as the workday begins, they are back on autopilot, experiencing lack of focus, stress and reactive behavior. My method builds a bridge between mindfulness and the challenges of everyday work life. I demonstrate time-efficient methods that can be directly integrated into your daily work routine. Furthermore, you receive valuable impulses to raise what you are doing anyway to a higher level through mindfulness. No extra work needed - once the "mindfulness muscle" is strengthened, it can be used as a superpower at any time.

How can mindfulness help with the current situation (covid-19, home office)?

Rapid and unexpected change can throw us off track. Everyone has their own stimulus-response patterns when it comes to change. Often, these are emotionally charged. If the resulting processes such as resistance, fears, and insecurities are not consciously observed, they can have a destructive effect on behavior toward ourselves, our work, or others. Mindfulness includes a box of cognitive and emotional tools to see opportunities in change and tap into inner strength. These tools increase self-awareness and self-regulation. Moreover, the individual becomes more resilient to stress and change.

Of course, there is no such thing as a standard program with me anyway. I always check in with you first, understanding your individual situation. Only then we define what will work best. Of course, we can also talk about formats that are not listed on the homepage, like supporting your organization becoming more mindfulness on a greater scheme (case study building to convince management, consulting on how to include mindfulness into HR strategy, internally building resources, etc.).

Very much so - because there are some AHA moments to be expected! In a non-binding call, I would be happy to introduce you to the powerful effects of mindfulness methods in fast-paced everyday life. For this purpose, I am using the latest neuroscientific findings as well as personal experiences from my years as a global marketing manager in a large corporation.

On request, I also offer 1-1 coaching on the topic of mindfulness in everyday life. The goal is to develop an individual plan for you and to determine the methods and meditations that suit you and bring you joy. Based on your daily routine, your challenges, and preferences, I will create a program for you that will make your everyday life much more relaxed and bring your work achievements to a new level. The coaching consists of a 60-minute session, the development of a personalized plan for you, email support over the next 4 weeks, and a subsequent 60-minute follow-up session.
